Boss Monsters are worth 4 point each for your Monster Count. These monsters player characters for breakfast. Any sane character would cower in fear of their might.

Unlike the players a Boss Monster receives 100 points worth of statistics. They must spend 60 points in Health, but have 40 points to distribute between NoA, NoD, SpA, SpD, and Speed with a maximum of 15 in any given statistic. A Difficult foe will always have 250 HP due to the inability to invest points into Health.

Difficult Monsters also have 14 Skill point just like the players.

The normal foe has the same number of Utility Powers as the players. They also have 12 Utility Points plus 1 for every level of the players.

Boss Monsters have 3 attacks each round.

Boss Monsters should have a unique ability; like mind control or swallowing a player whole, that adds a bit of dramatic flair to the monster. This abilities effect is fully up to the Game Master. A player can escape the condition by a successful Challenge Condition Check.

For each difficult foe the players defeat be sure to reward your players with 20 gp worth of loot.

Leveling Up your Boss foes[]

Add 3 points to 3 different statics and add 2 skills points to two different skills for each level past the 1st of the player's. They also gain 1 additional Utility Point per level.
